Set within the approved Thameside West masterplan, the site’s unique settings and the emerging character of the Royal Docks gives Thameside West opportunity to be a catalyst for change and creates a focal point for the borough on a gateway site.

Flanagan Lawrence were asked to prepare detailed design proposals for 3 plots, D-E & F within the approved masterplan. Our design is instrumental in maximising residential opportunities and design quality. Set along the new Parkside frontage with striking riverside views, proposals will benefit from far reaching views along the length of the Thames as well as towards the Royal Docks and the City. Connecting the park visually though landscaped terraces and podia maximises value and amenity. Layering back from the park, active retail frontages and dedicated residential amenities enliven and connect this new residential quarter to the river Thames beyond.

The residential towers are linked with low podium buildings at their base. This podium is setback and a clear order is expressed to each tower as a generous double height space. A fitting crescendo to the masterplan is Building F02, marking the river Thames. Its stepping form breaks away from the pairs of towers and is identified as a landmark tower.
