The competition, which is part of Taylor Wimpey’s long term initiative Project 2020, sought architects worldwide to develop new, innovative ideas and create the house typology of the future.

Our shortlisted courtyard house proposal is a synthesis of the terraced/ semi-detached housing typologies, where the outdoor spaces are important elements of the design and, as such, become interlocked within the general arrangement. An open plan layout allows multiple internal arrangements and access options, with clean, modern, crisp volumes.
