We were commissioned by the Royal College of Music to work with Arup Acoustics to design an array of acoustic panels, to be flown above the platform in the Grade 1 listed Amaryllis Fleming concert hall. The purpose of the panels is to break up the focussing of sound on the platform caused by the original barrel vaulted ceiling, and to provide much needed early reflections for the performers on the stage to improve their performance and ensemble playing.

The panels are designed to be visually un-obtrusive and blend into the background of the white vaulted soffit.
