Chris joined Flanagan Lawrence in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Associate Director in 2016. Chris has led several of the practice’s key projects in Wembley Park, London. This includes the Wembley Park Masterplan, which will transform the character and life of the area with a new high quality urban and residential environment, as well as Alto Apartments, a large scale residential project in Wembley Park that is set to bring a new benchmark for sophisticated urban living.
Prior to Flanagan Lawrence, Chris worked with Make from 2006. Whilst in this position he was involved on a variety of major hotel and residential schemes in the UK, Montenegro, Dubai, the Caribbean and Canada. He was team leader on the Greenwich Square project, a major residential mixed-use scheme in London featuring 629 homes and a range of integrated community facilities.
Chris graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1994. In 1995 he joined Denton Corker Marshall Architects in Melbourne, where he worked on the Museum of Victoria project. He moved to London in 1997 and joined Foster and Partners. There, he worked on the highly prestigious 30 St Mary Axe in the City of London, seeing the design through from initial concept stages to completion. He was promoted to Associate in 2005 and was project architect on the Budenberg Haus housing project for Urban Splash in Altrincham, Cheshire, seeing this scheme through to completion.
