World Architectural Festival and INSIDE Festival 2017

Two of our projects are shortlisted for this annual event.

7th Jul 2017

Some more good news for us on the awards front, with one of the practice’s Research & Design projects, ‘An Economically Sustainable Aquaponics Farm’, shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival Awards in the Future Projects – Experimental category. The project is a research collaboration between Flanagan Lawrence, Expedition Engineering, and BAQUA, manifesting as a ‘modular vertical farming system’ wrapping onto south facades of industrial sheds in suburban areas with the aim of ‘greening an industrial landscape’.

Our interior design company – FLINT – and their work as the interior designers and interior architects for The Nova Building, is contending for the residential award at the INSIDE Festival (which is the World Architecture Festival’s sister festival for interiors.)

This is the fourth year in a row that we’re shortlisted for this terrific and globally recognised awards programme, and we’re already counting down to all of the action in November. See you in Berlin!
