Luka Melon

BArch RIBA ARB

Project Director

Luka has a vast range of experience in residential projects and displays an attention to detail which is fitting for the bespoke nature of those projects.

Luka currently leads the Architectural Compliance and Monitoring Team (CMT) on The Whiteley. A meticulously restored London icon, set within a retained and restored Grade II listed façade, it includes 139 private residential apartments and townhouses, London’s first Six Senses hotel and spa, restaurants, new stores, a cinema, state of the art gym and public spaces.

Luka successfully completed The Nova Building as a key member of the Interior Architecture and Design team, latterly assuming full responsibility for the detailed design and technical resolution of the building envelope through to completion. Subsequently he led the Interior Architecture team on the Hurlingham residential project working with Hopkins Architects. Luka was also a key member on Fisherton Street, a highly successful residential led mixed-use regeneration scheme in Westminster.

Other notable projects include the base build fit-out of all luxury apartments, Leisure and Spa Suites at One Hyde Park in Knightsbridge and the fit-out of a unique three storey Penthouse for a private client.

An expert collaborator in his day to day endeavours with project teams and colleagues, Luka also worked historically with New York-based artist Tobias Putrih on the Slovenian Pavilion for the 52nd Venice Art Biennale. The 30-seat cinema pavilion was later exhibited at the Hayward Gallery in London. Outside of work Luka is a keen athlete and can often be found at a parkrun, on his bicycle or otherwise training for his next marathon swim - the length of Windermere.
