Residential   The Nova Building

The Nova Building is a premium residential development, in Phase One of the Nova, Victoria Masterplan. We were appointed in 2011 by Land Securities as Interior Designer and Interior Architect for the building.

Located between Buckingham Palace Road and a new pedestrianised north/south route the building fulfils an important role mediating between the historic fabric of Belgravia to the west and the new commercial hub of Victoria to the east.

The scheme comprises 170 private apartments across 12 floors with a further 6 retail units at ground and first floor levels. Accommodation ranges from compact studios to 4 bed duplex penthouses, clustered around a series of 4 cores, each of which having its own front door at ground level offering a greater sense of exclusivity. Lobbies on all floors enjoy natural light and external views, engendering a greater sense of place.

The interior design concepts are contemporary, working with the buildings’ exterior expression, reinforcing this inside though the careful use of materials, finishes and bespoke detailing to create a sequence of domestic interiors enhanced by the use of space and light. The design and specification enhanced sales values and helped Land Securities to achieve around a 60% pre-Let of apartments.
