Robert studied architecture at the Polytechnic of Central London under Allan Colquhoun and has worked for London practices since 1977. He joined Flanagan Lawrence in 2004 and was made associate in 2014.
Robert is currently overseeing the exteriors team for 11-15 Grosvenor’s Crescent, a high end residential project in Belgravia, London, which will breathe new life into a terrace of Grade II listed buildings, which have suffered from years of unsophisticated intervention, and combine it with a dynamic new addition.
Robert’s time at the practice has involved several key workplace, masterplanning and residential projects, including the masterplan and Phase 1 buildings at Butterfield, a 1m sq ft business park in Bedfordshire. He has also been a leading member of the One Hyde Park apartment fit-out CMT, and the One Hyde Park Penthouse client’s delivery team, which has seen Robert demonstrate his considerable design and technical skill and experience with the world-class delivery of sub-contract services. Robert most recently worked at the Fitzroy Place project (former Middlesex Hospital site) as architectural CMT for Exemplar.
Prior to joining Flanagan Lawrence, Robert was an associate at a number of design-led architectural practices, including Terry Farrell’s for the Chiswick Park development, and recently-listed Comyn Ching scheme; he has also won a 2005 RIBA Small Housebuilder award for his Camden mews development scheme.
