Michael moved to London in 2003 and joined Flanagan Lawrence, where he begun working on a wide range of multi-unit speculative industrial schemes, office business parks and high quality mixed use office and residential projects. He has been an integral team member for the workspace schemes; MTL Butterfield in Luton, Grosvenor Street, Butterfield Business Park, and is currently working on the detailed design of the second phase of The Embankment, Greengate.
A key team member for the British Council of Offices award winning 10 Hammersmith Grove, Michael was also the project’s lead for the second and final phase of the development, 12 Hammersmith Grove. This development establishes an integral landmark in the regeneration of the Hammersmith area, with this second building comprising of 11 storeys and 15,500sqm of net grade A office space, as well as a public realm and retail space. The project completed in 2016.
Prior to joining Flanagan Lawrence, Michael studied at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa, graduating with a Bachelor of Technology degree in 2002.
