Located close to Lisson Grove in the Westminster, Carrick Yard’s apartment buildings form the gateway to a unique new landscaped pedestrian route known as the green spine which links Salisbury St and Fisherton St across the site which will form the centre for the community.

The Green Spine is a key part of Westminster Council’s ‘Green Strategy’ zoning – and has driven the scheme’s massing and orientation. A pair of Mansion Blocks face the Spine and align with existing neighbouring residential buildings. Along this new link between the north and south sides of the site are the entrances to the apartment buildings as well as the community space and sports hall. These provide animation along the thoughtfully landscaped space, and attract footfall and activity, enlivening the spine as a public space adding to the diversity and distinctiveness of the project, consolidating Luton Street’s role in the regeneration of the area.

The Flanagan Lawrence have been collaborating well with the interior team, FLINT to deliver this sophisticated and beautifully crafted concept which is beginning to emerge on site.
